2nd European Award for Social Entrepreneurship and Disability:
Promoting Social Investment
- The objective of the award is publically to acknowledge projects of social entrepreneurship that are aimed at the field of disability.
- The winning project will receive a prize valued at 11,000 €.
Fundación ONCE, in the framework of the European Network of Corporate Social Responsibility and Disability, cofinanced by the European Social Fund, is launching the second edition of the European Award for Social Entrepreneurship and Disability: Promoting Social Investment. This pioneering initiative in Europe aims to highlight projects of social entrepreneurship that target the field of disability.
The award proposes two possible profiles of participation:
- Social Entrepreneurs with projects in the field of disability.
- Entrepreneurs with disability who present an innovative project.
Submissions for the second edition of the European Award for Social Entrepreneurship and Disability can be presented from 28 October to 12 December via the website of the initiative. The winning project will receive public recognition as well as a prize valued at 11,000 euros, which is cofinanced by Fundación ONCE, L’Oréal, Fundación Triodos and the EiDD.
For the second year running, the Award has the collaboration of the European Commission and the backing of Telefónica, L’Oréal and the Italian Ministry of Employment and Social Policies (founder members of the CSR+D Network), as well as Kanchi, Essl Foundation, Fundación Triodos, European Disability Forum and EiDD.
